Gorgeous Multicultural Beach Wedding
in Hilton Head Island
Ryan and Nisha had a stunning beach wedding at the Wexford Plantation & Sonesta Hilton Head in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. They wanted to incorporate both of their cultural and religious backgrounds, so they combined Indian and American wedding traditions for a fabulous, days-long celebration. Leading up to the big day, they hosted traditional Hindu wedding events like a Sangeet (a party the night before the wedding). The outdoor wedding ceremony took place under a beautiful mandap (canopy). In keeping with Indian wedding tradition, Ryan rode into the ceremony on a white horse! Nisha and Ryan exchanged vows before a Hindu priest as well as a Christian pastor, and then continued the festivities with a reception dinner and dance. The day of the wedding couldn't have been more perfect, with blue skies and the sound of the ocean just beyond the sand dunes. Check out all the photos below from their beautiful beach wedding!
